2026 Dell Med Educational Innovation, Research & Awards Symposium

Call for Posters:
Faculty, fellows, residents and medical students are invited to present scholarly work in educational research or innovation in poster format. This can be recent work presented at other meetings, or future work for the purpose of receiving feedback. The Poster Session will use a facilitated discussion format, so presenters are asked to be present for the entire poster session. Examples from past poster include education in communication skills, community engagement, curriculum innovation, feedback & assessment, innovative teaching tools, and inter-professional education.
If you already have your presentation in a poster format and presented at other conferences, you may use the same poster for our symposium.

Creating your poster:
Please use the Dell Medical School template to create your 78” by 40” poster. You can download the template here: Dell Med Poster Template.
The template includes all the formatting information you need to create and print your poster; please read carefully.
Printing your poster:
For a paper poster, you can use UT-Austin’s on-campus printing at: https://documentsolutions.utexas.edu/copyservices/online-ordering.
To order printing, email them at the main office email address with a PDF of your poster and what size you want and ask for an estimate (all associated costs are the responsibility of the applicant).
They’ll deliver anywhere on campus for free.
Displaying your poster:
Please make sure to bring your poster, along with large binder clips to hang it up, to the HLB auditorium lobby before or on September 28th.
Upload your abstract (300 words or less in Word format) in the Box Folder below. Please ensure that your email address and Full Name is indicated on the Word document, then click Submit. Save abstract as Abstract First Initial, Last Name; Example: Abstract L. Wang
