Dell Medical School

Review & Brand Compliance

To ensure consistency and maintain the strength of the Dell Medical School brand, the Communications team requires review of materials that represent Dell Med. This is especially important for materials related to formal partnerships, events, sponsorships, etc.

Dell Med Brand Review

Please submit materials by emailing communications@dellmed.utexas.edu. Please allow 2 – 5 business days for a reply (additional time may be needed if revisions are required). You'll be asked to include agreements/contracts when completing the brand review request.

The checklist below is intended to give you a head start in ensuring your print or digital materials align with Dell Med's brand guidelines. The review process is likely to go much faster if this checklist is complete.

  1. Is the Dell Med or unit logo used correctly? Learn about logo usage »
  2. Are the correct colors and typefaces used? View the color palette and download approved typefaces »
  3. Is the copy aligned with editorial style? Is the information clear and concise? Read the style guide highlights »

What types of materials require brand review?

In general, if you're using any UT Austin logo including but not limited to Dell Med, department, center, institute, program, lab, or degree logos, the communications team requires review of all public facing materials such as:

  • Websites
  • Brochures
  • Flyers
  • Advertisements
  • Social media posts
  • Or any materials produced for an event where Dell Med is a Space Host, Sponsor/Co-Sponsor or informal partner.

Trademarks & Licensing Review

Once the communications team has reviewed materials submitted through the brand review request form, you or a vendor may need to complete a Trademarks & Licensing request form if you are ordering promotional items. Read about the trademarks and promotional items.

If you have any questions about the review and approval process please contact the Communications team.
