Cultural well-being is the ability to practice one’s own cultural background, as well as learning about and appreciating others’ cultures. It also includes the ability to use this knowledge to work towards building welcoming environments.

Medical Muslim Society

The Medical Muslim Society (MMS) is a student organization that welcomes Muslim students, physicians and leaders to explore the inherent intersection between Islam and medicine.

Intervarsity

Intervarsity is a national organization with a Dell Med student chapter. It's purpose is to establish and advance witnessing communities of students and others who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord: growing in love for God, God’s Word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture and God’s purposes in the world.

Latinx Medical Student Association (LMSA)

The Latinx Medical Student Association is a national organization with a Dell Med student chapter that unites and empowers medical students through service, mentorship and education to advocate for the health of the Latinx community.

Student National Medical Association

The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) is a national organization with a Dell Med student chapter that is committed to supporting current and future underrepresented minority medical students, addressing the needs of underserved communities, and increasing the number of clinically excellent, culturally competent and socially conscious physicians.

Queer Medical Association

The Queer Medical Association (QMA) is student organization committed to connecting and supporting queer healthcare students and professionals, advancing equity for queer patients, and addressing the broader needs of queer communities.

Making Equity Standard in Healthcare

Making Equity Standard in Healthcare (MESH) is a student organization that aims to train and support the next generation of healthcare advocates and professionals in ReThinking patient-centeredness, inclusivity and equity.

Women in Medicine

Women in Medicine is a student organization dedicated to providing an avenue for students to learn about the roles of women in medicine, provide opportunities for medical students to shadow in the medical field, provide educational opportunities for female-identifying students relative to the field, and provide resources and support to assist female-identifying students forming highly competitive applications to the field.
