Student Research Opportunities in Pediatrics
Are you an undergrad or grad student looking for a research project to assist with?
If you’re interested in working as a research volunteer (RV) with any of our physicians doing clinical research at Dell Children’s hospital or outpatient areas, you can sign up through the Ascension network portal.
There are several sections you must complete: 1) Applicant Information, 2) CITI Training, 3) HIPAA/PHI Training, 4) Experience & Resume, and 5) Attestation.
Almost all study teams are looking for students to commit to an entire year not just a semester as it takes quite a while to train and educate students on the research activities.
You must complete the entire application and onboarding before contacting a physician or study team about working with them.
