Tenure-Track and Tenured Faculty Review
Mid-Probationary Review
The University of Texas at Austin is committed to providing faculty members with informative and meaningful feedback. It is especially important that tenure-track faculty undergo a comprehensive review midway through their probationary service in order to assess if the faculty member is on a reasonable trajectory toward promotion and tenure.

Comprehensive Periodic Review
Tenured faculty are required to complete a Comprehensive Periodic Review (CPR) every 6 years. The purpose of the Comprehensive Periodic Review is to provide faculty with guidance for continued meaningful tenured faculty development and assess professional contribution consistent with that expected of a tenured faculty member of the relevant rank and role.
